Last year watching Sunday nigth football on ESPN was hell. Refuse to watch it after the first couple of weeks. Theisman and Maguire on the same set, please gouge my eyes out with a spoon.

I must be the only person on the planet who liked the team of Mike Patrik, Thiesman, and Maguire [sp?]. I've watched almost every ESPN game for years, and always enjoyed them. The back-and-forth between Thiesman and Maguire was hilarious.

I'll never forget a KC game in 2003, when they interviewed Carol Vermeil about hher husband coming back to coaching. Carol said something like, 'I supported Dick's decision to retire from the Rams, and I supported his decision to come back. He's a wonderful man and I trust his judgement, and he can do whatever he wants.' After the played that interview, Maguire [in his usual style] said, 'my wife says I can do whatever I want...so long as I'm working.'
