Hi Neil
We have tested with switching off the hyperthreading and the problem still persists. I have requested their IT staff to perform a BIOS upgrade. Will let you know.

If I access the same routines via the menu structure then as soon as the option is clicked the cpu usage goes to 100% and the application is unresponsive. The only obvious thing that I can see is that the cpu's are Intel hyper-threading cpu's, 2.8Ghz. I have heard problems with this cpu. Can anyone (a) confirm the above behaviour and (b) is so, is there a workaround?
