>How can you change the properties of a browse window , if the browse window is in a form? Properties like color of the rows and columns of the browse window. Whenever I call the browse window from my form , I would like the form to be underneath the browse window but disabled i.e. no interaction with the form whatsoever of the user. Also when I close the browse window the form gets activated again. Where would I write the code to acomplish this?

You should really be using a grid for this. (I assume you are using VFP). IF you need modal functionality, you can put the grid inits own modal form and call the form from your main form. Grids are much more configurable than browse windows, and you are given many more avenues of control.
