I disliked sharing an office at first, but once I was in with the right people, I was happy. One of the guys was the dept's eldest, put low ranking person. Yet a source of unofficial power and information. Very connected inside and outside of our company. Very handy person to have around. The other guy in my office was an engineer, who basically does the job of an IT guy. So a lot of collaboration could take place without having to book meetings and such.
"Boomer" is a baby-boomer?
