I would like to use the new My classlib of the Sedna October CTP, but it seems I set a trap for myself years ago, when I created a Baseclass library named 'Mybase.vcx' containing all my first VFP- derived classes like mytextbox, myspinner, myform...

Now I can instantiate:
LOCAL My AS My
My = NEWOBJECT('My', 'my.vcx')
and it works as long as I don't use one of my own baseclasses - or their children. Then the My. object does not contain the namespaces Computer, App or Settings any more.
In a compiled App I get the error 'Unknown Element App'.

Will I have to rename my basic classlib - and how, without breaking all my derived classes?

*** Sorry, seems to be misplaced here - I posted this thread again in category Sedna
