For machines needing more security we go only over direct telephone call, sometimes changing the pwd, asking them to plug in the phone line into the "secure" pc right before access and receiving that new pwd over another phone line. Since this is probably the most secure VPN (and is also watched at the client side) as our PC is disconnected and checked for viruses even more than usual we can work inside some financial companies without the need to dress up<g>. OTOH I remember fantastic in-flight breakfeasts in SA with lots of fresh fruit: so if they still serve those and the client pays the travel cost...
