>>>Hi all

>>>my daughter is in Japan studying at a langauge school. A few of them took time out to go to a local amusement park in Nagoya and rode on one of the larger rollercoasters (The steel dragon). There is a video taken by the front seat passenger here.

Scary enough to start, but they all clammed up after that. Not many twists and turns, or a loop-de-loop, centrifugal, etc., which all come into the equation.

I went on as many of the mega-coasters as I could at Canada Wonderland in Toronto: stand-up, dangle on a saddle, rickety traditional type, "Top Gun", plummet down and up a huge horse-shoe, forwards and backwards, et al, so I'm not talking from an armchair. I love 'em!

There's one in the pier that changes direction suddenly, and spins round, way up over the cold, cold sea, like the old "mad mouse". That puts the muckies up me more! :-)
