Oh yes, he was on "Desert Island Discs" last week and explained how as a boy he was very shy and had his head down when he met the vicar. Something like: He suddenly jerked his head up at his mother's insistance, just as the vicar was lighting a pipe, or something (maybe you heard it), and set fire to his clothes. I just thought the quote sounded so Pythonesque.
