Hello all
We are trying to create a report (rdlc) in Visual Studio 2005, using vb.net, Microsoft's report viewer, and a stored procedure using a parameter. Ideally, we want to do this all or as much as possible in code.
We have searched the web, Microsoft, tried the wizards, and gotten to 80% of several types of solutions but none at 100% where a stored procedure parameter (a primary key passed by code) is involved. Either the datatable or dataset is unavailable to design the report, or the parameter does not get to the SP, or the dataset is not visible in the report designer etc...
Being relatively new to (and frustrated with) vb and asp.net (I am used to Visual Foxpro ...), could someone point us to a northwind code sample or something simple which does the same thing?
Thank in advance
Charles Richard
