i suppose you want to reuse the old code without many changes?
you should make a database and create cursor for every MSSQL tabel you have, make them autoupdate and that's it..
seek doesn't work anymore so you can make you're own seek function based on locate or something..
anyway it's not a good ideea, too much network trafic and no control over the queryed/inserted data (my opinion).
