Sorry, I was thinking of Set filter to .T., not .F. as in your case. Anyway, a grid is not a good choice to work with large tables. Personally I always use cursors as controlsource for grids, and add code to update the "mother" table whenever I select new data for the grid. Some more code, but it's much faster, plus it gives your user an automatic undo option.
