I am having the same problem going through the Jump Start. I created the aAppTest instance and then tried to create the Orders instance and the message "Project needs to be rebuilt" message comes up. I am going through the Jump Start a few times and one time it didn't happen but it continues to happen. I am not doing anything fancy but following the Jump Start examples. I am using the VB examples. A couple of times it cleared up without me doing anything but re-booting my computer a few times.

Update!

My problem cleared itself, as it has in the past. I didn't do anything to resolve it except to go in and out of VS a few times throughout the day and at some point it allowed me to create instances in the test bench.
