The famous Afghan girl on the cover of a National Geographic was rediscovered recently. If a man looked at her directly, she covered her face. If that same man looked at her through a camera she didn't cover her face. Of course?!?!, she couldn't even meet the photographer at her door ?!?!?! until her husband came home and allowed it ?!?!?!?!.
I guess there's some logic to it. If you can believe in something you can't prove exists, you can accept being required to cover your face but only if the guy has no camera?
