where I found that the actual problem was that Ansi setting. Craig proposes a slightly different workaround there, so I will have to evaluate two opinions about this issue. Your solution looks more stringent.

So I don't feel entitled to report this bug and put Craig Boyd's feathers on my hat (as we would say in German ;)> )
