My need was a little bit different than yours. I wanted a cycle of 2-1-0-2-1-0-2-1-0-2.., where you want 2-1-0-1-0-1-0-1..., but I know you are smart enough to modify my code accordingly. Read 2 as .NULL., 1 as .T. and 0 as .F.
