Terry - I failed to mention that if you put the following in the dateenvironment init [zoom window 'report designer' max] - you will find that code will also become gobbledygook at times.

My only hope in the next version it is fixed.

>My God, is this behaviour still happening in V9? This used to happen to me, too frequently, when closing a form I've been editing. Sometimes when reopening the form later I'd find that much of my code in methods had been replaced by gobbledygook.
