>I recall an interview with Don Adams, in which he was talking about his daily routine while making the “Get Smart” series. His house was some distance from the sidewalk and street. In Los Angeles you have to place your garbage can next to the curb in order for the “Sanitary Engineers to pick it up. So on garbage collection day Don Adams would place his garbage can in the back of his convertible, drive to the street and place the garbage can on the street for collection.

>One day he arrived at the studio only to notice that he had forgotten one thing on garbage collection day. He still had the garbage can in the back of his convertible! Stress!

>I thought the series was like "Mel Brooks", (crazy) and watched it anyway! :) Imagine someone talking into his shoe? That must have been the first cell phone! :)

It is odd that you would mention Mel Brooks. He and Buck Henry created and wrote for the show.

>>For years, I've wanted three TV series to come out on DVD. Wild Wild West, Get Smart, and Mission Impossible. Wild Wild West, Season 1 came out earlier this year. Today I received Get Smart, the complete series. Guess what I'm doing tonight!
>>
>>Still waiting for Mission Impossible.

>>What TV shows would you like to see on DVD?
