Many of you have watched the bug tracking evolution of the VFPOleDb provider which is failing under .NET 2.0 if you send simultaneous hits. Well, here is the latest. This morning at 5h00 am, someone decided to mark this bug as resolved. Wow! What a terrible insult. After having waited for two months for this bug to be resolved, just like that, it seems it is fixed. There is no note on the bug tracking page about a fix. I also checked Microsoft Web site, there is no new release of the VFPOleDb provider. The only think I could think that would explain this is that a bug becomes fixed by itself after a certain period if it is not fixed. So, what should I do. Should I recreate another bug tracking page? I already added a comment to the page but if it is fixed, I doubt someone would read it now.
