Jeez, it reads like "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee". I always suspected that the idealized, kids' pageant version was a bit sanatized.

And I heard recently that they didn't actually set off from Plymouth, England, but Soiuthampton, then had to call in at Plymouth because one of the ships was foundering, or summat. So it's ALL a lie!

Upset to read of Santa and the Easter Bunny though.
