Yes, correct, for a new application, knowing that the OleDb provider is three times slower than the SQL Client provider and knowing that we have this severe bug in the VFP OleDb provider, we would have gone directly with SQL Server. The fact that the speed is three times slower is not much of a big factor presently. We are talking about fraction of a second. But, the biggest problem is the use of that VFP OleDb provider under simulataneous hits. It is good to keep VFP as the backend because of all the flexibility we have. That is what I like about it.
