Data corruption in VFP? I have used FoxBase and VFP for nearly 20 years, and it has happend twice, both times caused by power failure. You have more or less total control over this, there is absoluely no reason to blame VFP. If you use an UPS and teach your users never to turn of their computer before all programs are exited, you will NEVER have any data corruption. And by the way, what makes you think that VB is any better? Since VB does not have any data engine, you must use an external data engine like SQL server. VFP and SQL server really rocks, so you will be better off with VFP and SQL server. And by the way, VB is discontinued, do you mean VB.NET?
>I want to get it because I am planning to leave VFP becuause data corruption.
>I want to learn VB while converting my source codes into VB.
