except for a HD failure and software bugs, SQL SERVER don't lose data
on every possible exception on the server:
- OS freezing
- OS crash
- HW reset
- HW powerdown
...

Before using SQL Server,
I have tried every possible way to make to lose it the data,
SQL Server has never lost data,
except when the sectors of the HD are damaged.

if this were not true, the mission of SQL Server would be failed completely.

To control the errors of the HDs, a controller Raid can be used,
but honestly, after a long experience,
also the most expensive controllers, of the firms
leaders are not deprive of bugs or of errors of project

>The first step is to check the power supply not just for the Server and PCs but for routers, network hardware, dsl or cable modems, apparently unrelated servers providing proxy or windows network services... anything where a momentary glitch can cause an apparent freeze. It might be just one PC messing your whole system up- we had a client whose IT support person had a flaky network card so every he logged in to "investigate", users began experiencing lockups and data loss.
