I understand. Of course, you can still RECOMMEND that the user sets FireFox or Opera as the default browser.

Otherwise, I am not sure how to solve that problem.

Perhaps you have to detect what is the default browser (I don't know how), and then use different commands, depending on whether the default browser is Internet Explorer, or not.
