Opera or FireFox are better for several reasons.

I was thinking about my own users, a small group within the factory. I recommend them to use FireFox. (For a larger audience, like when software is being sold, this is more problematic.)

The report preview (viewing HTML) is problematic with Internet Explorer, but it still works. The user just has to get accustomed to the fact that one report overwrites the previous one. Actually, this is quite unpleasant, since sometimes you want to compare more than one report.
