I see. I am not sure how to solve this.

On the other hand, somehow I never worried too much about interrupting queries, because I usually manage to optimize them. Perhaps you should try to do the same. That is, if the query takes 5-10 seconds instead of 5-10 minutes, there is really no reason to interrupt in the middle of a query. Few of my queries take longer than that.
