Title:
Locking of records in SQL
Environment versions
Network:
Windows 2003 Server
Hi all,
While doing editing of a record in a SQL database from my application, I would like to flag the record such that other users cannot edit the same record until I'm done while allowing them to view the records.
In VFP tables, I can use the pessimistic locking to do it. Does this work with SQL records (access via buffered remote views on my application) or I need to use a different strategy.
Thanks in advance.
Yau
