I think Metin's original point was that if the default Windows printer for the TS session is offline (or no default printer has been defined) Windows might retry looking for it for quite a while before giving up. I seem to recall seeing something here to the effect that VFP or Windows will look for the default printer even if you eventually want to choose another one in the dialog.

IOW make sure a default printer is defined and that it's online - at least for a test, so you can see if it makes a difference.
