>>>Well, you've just mentioned some of my favorites as your favorites too but I'll add a few more: Dr. Zhivago, Dancing in the rain, The Grapes Of Wrath and East Of Eden just to mention a few since I could go on all day :).
>>
>>Ah yes Dr Zhivago. Don't forget Giant and the Bridge over the River Kwai.

>How could I? :) One movie I forgot to mention and is also in the list of my favorite movies of all times is "The Champ" with Jon Voight, a real tearjerker (I know) but still one of my favorites.

Now that WAS a tear-jerker. I loved it too. Wasn't that also a remake of an old B&W? Or am I thinking of Warren Beatty's "Heaven can wait" which was a remake of a film where the sportsman was a boxer, while Beatty's char was a quaterback?

Ah, "Sierra Madre" - originator of the classic lines:

"If you're federales where are your badges?"
"Badges? We ain't got no stinkin' badges!" Ha Ha!

>>>I like everything John Houston ever made specially Key Largo, The Asphalt Jungle, The African Queen, Treasure Of Sierra Madre, Prizi's Honor and (of course) The Maltese Falcon. Does that qualifies me as a movie freak? :)
