I've been using XFRX for a couple of years too. Works great and is easy (and royalty free) to build into your installers.

You get programmatic control over lots of PDF specific options - very handy and absolutely painless for users. It includes a PDF viewer if your user doesn't have Adobe's free viewer.

They also have versions for a bunch of other output types from your VFP reports if you need them.

There are numerous free PDF printer drivers that users can install on their machines (like cutePDF). They are the cheapest option but you lose the ability to control the printing and print options.
