I can't believe this thread is still going...

Anyhow, what I enjoy watching is that the Dems are naming (or trying to name) corrupt members like Hastings and the like to committee chairs after two years of whining about the "culture of corruption".

I think we're looking at a political situation that is way too complex to get into here, but it boils down to the folks in power are not the ones who actually won the elections and resonated with the electorate. So we have this weird dichotomy.

I'm going to have so much fun the next two years watching the leftist Dems get their butts handed to them. They have already begun selling out "principles". As if they ever had them.

And it would take things like a right-wing fundamentalist associated with a place like "jesus camp" to come out of the closet. Or a war that some say is going swimmingly, while the nightly news says otherwise. Or congressmen to basically hang shingles outside their office announcing what their bribe rates are......
