i have this problem of a status bar coming at the bottom of my screen after creating an EXE only on some computers.

i have the same program running on 6 different computers.

this is a status bar giving information on the current file name and record position.

i have given the command set status off already in the program but this status bar appears on certain computers and is absent on others.

so what appears to be the reason here for this behaviour?
