Hmm...I just noticed that the sorting doesn't switch between ASC/DESC. I thought that was tracked/handled by the GridView, but it doesn't seem to be working. I tried playing around with the Sort() method on the grid (which didn't work so well), and the properties for sort order are readonly. So, it looks like the code I showed would probably have to be modified to do something like save the current sort order in the viewstate and toggle it between the two settings on each hit.
