>>I've come down to pretty stable 8 hours. Occasionally, it happens that I sleep just 6, 5 or even 3 hours - which I then make up by sleeping 15 minutes in the afternoon. I don't really know how I do it, but this power nap does work for me.

>I can't nap. First of all I find it almost impossible to wind down so that I can fall asleep. If I fall asleep, I get all sweaty and often get a stomach ache. Plus I find it really hard to get up again. For instance if I was to somehow take a nap at 4pm, I wouldn't get up until the morning. Instead of feel refreshed I will fell dizzy and tired for the rest of the day.

I can be knackered, falling asleep at my desk in the pm, then when I get home, if I don't allow myself to drop off, or just get 20 winks, I can then last till c. 3 am, and the whole cycle repeats. It's weird.

>I used to do that as a kid. I should try it. I hope you don't do that at work. Could be seen as eccentric.

As kids, whe got home from school, my bro would kneel at the sofa, throw himself forwards onto it and drop off immediately. At night, in our room, I'd hear hims snoring before I even attempted to sleep. I so envied him.

>If all systems are go I fall asleep pretty quickly at night. I generally try not to go to bed unless I feel tired, but fortunately that is generally at the same time every night.

Same here. And I'm like "The Princess and the Pea" with pillows.

- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
