>To make it easier on the user in making a selection from a combo box, I have displayed information from multiple fields. When the user clicks on the down arrow to open the drop-down list, it displays empnmbr, fname, and lname. However, after the selection is made and the drop-down list disappears, all that is left showing in the combo box is the empnmbr. Is there a way to make all the information (empnmbr, fname, and lname) appear in the combo box? I'm hoping so, because then I wouldn't have to worry about painting that information on screen again while a display related records below it in a grid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Combobox only displays data from one column in collapsed position.

AS an aside, if you are using the combobox as a record selector (it sounds like you are), be aware that combos don't handle large numbers of records well. A grid is a much healthier choice when you need to display anything more than a few dozen records.
