Just think about it: if you stay awake an extra 3 hrs/day, for every week, for just 20 years, then you would have *experienced* (as opposed to be unconcious of) 21,840 hours whihc = c. 2.5 years. So you've already gained an extra 2.5 years whether you live longer or not! :-)
And if life feels longer anyway, then you have no complaint, if you perceive it to have been longer.
