Yes, that is the idea.

In different forms, you can have the same alias, in one the record pointer can be at the beginning, in the other, at the end (for example).

You can even use the same alias for different tables, e.g.:
* In form 1
use Jan06 alias MonthlyData

* In form 2
use Feb06 alias MonthlyData
In most cases, if you use private datasessions, each form is like a separate user.
