I think the original article was written so you can reach the conclusion you reached, from the title to the mostly all anonymous (sp?) witnesses (how convinient, the ones defending the Imans are named and muslims themself, the accusers are all but one anonymous), and look at what the named one said: (bold is mine)

What?? So they should have been denied boarding for they prayed and mentioned Allah?? (All other claimed actions occurred AFTER they boarded, right)
(Maybe I am not correct that only one of the "accusers" is named, but anyways the whole thing smells)
