I quickly scanned through the Help and I may try to play with the Filer. In any case, as I posted, it did return wrong results using *e4* as a mask, as well as ADIR(). I don't know what exactly is to blame.

BTW, I did post the results of _cliptext in my message to you. Perhaps you haven't seen it.
