This test doesn't prove anything. Please try on a directory containing more than 13K files and with a much smaller mask, such as *4a*.htm. We need to have ~100 files meeting the conditions.
Did you see Bruce's message in this thread? AFAIK he provided the answer and all other replies were very confusing.
BTW, I tried to run the program for the computer directly (no LogMeIn) (computer connects to terminal server where files reside) and got the same exact problem.
