>If I may ask you a very newbie question (as I know nothing about Active Directory and Domain Controller). When you said that they (Active Directory and Domain Controller) were removed, is it a physical uninstall from the server or logically disabling something? And is this server 2003 or XP pro?

We had two Windows 2000 Server and one Windows Server 2003. As to know if this was an uninstall or a disable of the items, I will have to verify with the network specialist.
