I created a new .icon file called foldericon.icon in my Resources.resx file. Then I added an imagelist control to my main form resource area and added an existing file called folder.icon to it. I then accessed the image form a treeview control in order to enable me set the icon image as a node. After doing this, I then deleted the foldericon.icon file I created earlier because I realized I won't need it.

The IDE cautioned me that it will delete it permanently and I agreed. When I try debugging the build process displayed seven error messages that it couldn't find the foldericon.icon file I had deleted from the resource folder in my project, but then it displayed my Main MDIParent form without dispalying my menustrip, and any button items on the three toolstrip controls on the form. How it shows the containers.

I went into design mode to check if I had inadvertently deleted something but found out that all the undisplayed controls are present and their visible property set to true.

I tried restoring the .icon file I deleted from the recycled bin, but it still doesn't help.
I need help. Alfred
