>>I am not in the market for monetary constraints <g>, but my plan is to ditch any TV technology in favour of a projector and film. Granted, watching movies will be the main or even only use I'll give to it, and I found all plasmas or lcds to have an awful pixelation when image of a movie is moving quickly.

The speed issue for plasma and LCDs is a historic problem and one that shows up on cheaper models. Better LCDs and Plasmas now are in the 8ms range whereas a year or two ago they were generally in the 12-14ms range.
That's was one of things I found out very quickly when doing my research. The accepted weaknesses of the various technologies from a year or so ago are no longer true.
