Actually, it appears that the timer object and timer event are ok. This can be demonstrated. When the error occurs and you click "Ignore"; you can go and do something else including working in the VFP IDE. At the designated interval (30 seconds in the example) the error happens again. This can be repeated as often as one can tolerate it.

I think it's a sure bet that the timer object is created and firing as it should.
