Juri,

Thanks a lot for your and others' analyses. I can not answer right now in Russian forum (don't have a link to virtual keyboard and don't remember my credentials). I agree that the problem is in Short Names, as Bruce pointed out earlier. It's great that Grisha was able to re-construct the problem even with the smaller number of files.

BTW, LogMeIn doesn't take role in this problem, since at work I can use the computer directly, which is connected to the terminal server. I'm not sure about OS on the server, but all office PCs are Windows XP.

Now, if you (or someone) can tell me how can I turn off this kind of short names generation, it would be great. I also have to re-read Bruce's message.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
