I wanted to add another point, if I may. Even the title that you choose for this thread is inappropriate. You are suggesting that the Dutch soldiers actually "helped" in the massacre of the Bosnians. Besides the implications that the title has, you need to question (a) what orders the soldiers were given, and (b) whether they were trained, equipped, and capable of carrying out those orders.

The suggestion of this thread title is that the Dutch soldiers were ordered to protect the Bosnians, were trained and equipped to do so, but purposely disobeyed those orders. That is really not an appropriate conclusion.

It makes more sense to question the UN and the other powers in charge of military operations. Not the soldiers on the ground.
