I was recently at San Francisco airport, where I have to go to the departures level to get a shuttle.
Immediately I got outside I asked someone (who was smoking) for a light.
At that time a lady had just finished paying her cabbie. I guess she heard me ask because next thing I knew she handed me her lighter and said "Take this. I'm only going to lose it in 5 minutes anyway.".

I though she was one very thoughtful lady and I was most grateful.
