Wow, you are really up to speed there! The local sportswriters must call you for updates <g>.

I follow the Bears pretty closely and all I know is two of their defensive stars, Tommie Harris and Nathan Vasher, are both questionable for the Monday night game. Fortunately they are playing the Lambs.

>Doesn't look good for Carolina to be sure. If we lose Smith or Peppers it looks like a total loss. Current injuries and practice status:
>
>Jake Delhomme: sprained right thumb, questionable, did not practice. Nick Goings: shoulder, questionable, did not practice. Brandon Jamison: thigh, questionable, did not practice. Ken Lucas: thigh, questionable, did not practice. Kris Mangum: hip, questionable, did not practice. Mike Minter: knee, questionable, did not practice. Taye Biddle: tooth, probable, did not practice. DeShaun Foster: elbow, probable, did practice. Brad Hoover: back, probable, did practice. Mike Wahle: shoulder, probable, did practice.

>>- There's a new movie in Carolina, 'Tears of a Clown', starring Jake Delhomme, last seen sobbing like a little biotch after Monday night's loss. Meanwhile, seems like the two-trick Panthers [Smith and Peppers] are going to be sitting at home in January, given their remaining schedule [Giants, Steelers, Falcons, and Saints]
>>
>>- Fret not, I've got more negative words for my team. KC made a horrible Cleveland offense look like a juggernaut in the 4th quarter. I've seen fat, out-of-shape, LA cops tackle people better than KC's defense does.
>>
>>- Shanahan gave into public pressure, and benched Jake Plummer for Jay Cutler. I watched Cutler's interviews prior to Sunday's game - I remember an old Flinstone's episode where Fred went back to college and played on the football team with some big dumb kids....who sounded more intelligent than Cutler. Sadly, Cutler played about as smart as he sounds. It cost Denver the game, and may wind up being even more costly. Though it helps KC, I still don't understand benching Plummer. More on Shanahan at the end....
>>
>>- I don't care how good the Cowboys look right now, I still won't root for them. But I'll say this - when they sucked, I enjoyed watching them suffer. Right now, I'm cursing their success. They are the best team in the NFC right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they blow out the Saints this Sunday night.
>>
>>- Sooner or later, the Bear defense is going to break down, if Grossman keeps throwing picks and putting his 'D' back on the field. The Bears have great special teams players....but as a team, they are impressing me less and less. Super Bowl??? I'll be surprised if this team makes it to the NFC Title Game. I'm willing to make a bold prediction that a WC team like Atlanta walks into Soldier Field and stuns the Bears in the Divisional Round.
>>
>>- Jeff Garcia may have saved the season for the Eagles. Isn't it ironic that Garcia may be playing against T.O. in a few weeks, given their blowups in SF?
>>
>>- So Jim Mora Sr thinks that Michael Vick is a coach-killer? I hope his son stuck a fork in daddy's hands at the thanksgiving table. What a moronic blunder - but then again, this is a man who lost every prior head coaching job because of his big mouth. Atlanta went on a losing streak because of their receivers and their porous defense. I'd take Mike Vick [a.k.a. Ron Mexico, haha] in a heartbeat.
>>
>>- Everyone is jumping on the Bengal band-wagon, with hopes that they'll be the Steelers of 2006. The Bengals have to play Indy, Denver, and the Steelers. If they make the playoffs, THEN I'll be a believer. I still say this team is a bunch of hot-heads.
>>
>>- God, I hate admitting this, but Marty in SD might actually have a winner this year. Their defense isn't great....but god, do they have weapons.
>>
>>- A month ago, I said that the Titans were going to be contenders next year. They look like contenders now.
>>
>>- OK, the Fish lost a game....they can still play spoilers by beating the Jets
>>
>>- Speaking of the Jets...they're going to coast into one of the WC spots. I still can't believe it.
>>
>>- I'm rooting for the Lions to finish 2-14....so that they can finally can their GM.
>>
>>
>>Speaking of getting canned....while I always avoid participating in the celebrity dead pool.....I'm brave enough to predict coaches who get axed after the season....
>>
>>- Art Shell
>>- Jack Del Rio
>>- Dennis Green
>>- Jon Gruden
>>- Tom Coughlin
>>
>>....and.....get ready for the shocker.....Mike Shanahan
