>>- I don't care how good the Cowboys look right now, I still won't root for them. But I'll say this - when they sucked, I enjoyed watching them suffer. Right now, I'm cursing their success. They are the best team in the NFC right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they blow out the Saints this Sunday night.>

You can bet I'll be watching. With the A team of Michaels and Madden calling the game and the new ability to switch games a week or two before, the Sunday night game has replaced MNF as the marquee matchup of the week.

I think Reggie Bush has gotten it right from the beginning. To me he is a once or twice a generation kind of player, someone who will wind up regarded the same way Barry Sanders and Walter Payton are. His rushing stats have not been gaudy but he has proven to be a valuable receiver and returner as well. And I think it would be naive to think there is no connection between his arrival and the Saints' suddenly inspired play. The hoary old phrase about making his teammates better comes to mind.

Along with Drew Brees and that young wide receiver (blanking on his name), he makes me fear the Saints more than any other NFC team.
