We experimented with Skype but ended up using our own VOIP lines via Asterisk.
Thanks for the advice re webcasting, we're going to try to host it ourselves via our Asterisk server or failing that, we'll take one of the commercial offerings. I must say it will be a pleasure not to have to tinker with the #$#^$#$ ISDN Videoconferencing device that always seemed to need half an hour of tinkering to make it work.
