Merperson... I had to look that one up. Not a word on dictionary.com, but Google came to the rescue. In the Netherlands we have only a word for mermaids (zeemeermin). The word merman made me realize that we have a onesided view of the life in the sea. BTW, I found an interesting issue via Google:

If you ate a Merperson (Mermaid or Merman), would it be fish or meat?
